The Federal government has issued an administrative requirement in Section 6032 of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 that impacts entities receiving annual Medicaid payments of at least $5,000,000. Under the Department for Public Health collectively the Local Health Deparments have been identified to comply with this requirement as a condition of receiving or making Medicaid payments.
