Quitting isn't easy and we're offering several options to help you along the way. The Health Department offers the Cooper-Clayton method to stop smoking.
What is the Cooper-Clayton Method?

The Cooper-Clayton Method is a REALISTIC and REASONABLE method to stop smoking! The Cooper-Clayton Methos utilizes nicotine replacement therapy in the form of nicotine gum, the nicotine patch or the nicotine lozenge or other prescription medications to minimize nicotine withdrawal. Groups meet for one hour each week, for 13 weeks, with continuing support up to or past 24 weeks.
Please call (502)564-5559 for more information about the program or to learn where there is a group offered near you. You may also check our Calendar of Events for the latest information.
