So you want to build a house?
Well, you’ve come to the right place. In Franklin County, where property and homes are not provided with municipal sewers, a properly sized and constructed onsite septic system must be installed to adequately clean wastewater.
To begin, you must apply for a site evaluation (see link below). This will allow the health department to properly size the system according to soil type and number of bedrooms in the home.
