The Franklin County Health Department offers family planning services daily.  In addition to the services offered at our clinic site, we not offer services on Kentucky State University's campus.

Services included:

• Physical examination (including pap smear and breast exam)
• Comprehensive history
• Risk assessment
• Recommended lab testing
• Counseling and education on all methods of birth control
  • Abstinence
  • Barrier methods
  • Oral contraceptives
  • Nueva Ring
  • IUD's
  • Depo Provera Injections
  • Natural Family Planning
  • Sterilizations

All Family Planning services are confidential.  Parental consent is encouraged but not required.
